Prayer Chain
A group of more than 300 St. Paul members prays faithfully for prayer requests received by the church. You can submit a prayer request by noting it on an information cards found in our Sunday bulletins, by calling the church office, or by emailing them to us from here.

Walk the Labyrinth
2nd Mondays (except January), 1-8 PM, in the Gym in Family Life Center
A labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool that is being revived in the church for prayer and communion with God. Like a spiral, it consists of a single path that leads to the center. It differs from a maze in that there are never dead ends to evoke frustration. On the labyrinth one can trust that "walking the sacred path" will lead to the center.
Historically, labyrinths have been found in almost every culture. Christian use of the labyrinth became popular in the Middle Ages. When the Crusades discouraged pilgrimages to Jerusalem, a labyrinth was walked as a substitute. Walking the labyrinth has emerged today as a metaphor for the spiritual journey and a powerful tool for transformation. Walking the labyrinth can be a time of simply opening oneself to the presence of God without any particular "agenda" in mind, or it may be part of an ongoing discernment process during which one seeks clarity around a particular question or concern, and especially to recognize God’s will.
There is no "right" or "wrong" way to walk the labyrinth. Each person is encouraged to walk at their own pace, passing others and being passed as needed. Time spent in the center of the labyrinth has been described as a time of seeking awareness of God’s presence, healing, and clarity. It also can be a space of offering oneself to God. The labyrinth is for people of all ages and gender. It holds something for everyone.
We are fortunate that Kathleen Kaelin, MACP, a therapist in our community, has made the labyrinth available for use at St. Paul. Members of the Companions in Christ spiritual formation groups in our church assist with setting up the labyrinth and showing hospitality to people in the church and community who come to walk.
