St. Paul United Methodist Church

St. Paul offers many ways for adults to come together for worship, learning, sharing, fellowship, service, recreation, and fun. We offer a wide range of small groups and adult Sunday school classes, described on other pages of this site.

Emmaus: Many of our adults have participated in Walk to Emmaus weekends sponsored by the Louisville Emmaus Community. These 72-hour short courses in Christianity help men and women integrate their faith into their lives and equip them to serve their churches as leaders. See the Louisville Emmaus site for details and the schedule of upcoming walks. You can get a printed copy of the Emmaus newsletter, "Talk from the Walk," on the information wall near the Church office.

Recreation: St. Paul adults participate in a number of intramural leagues, some of them coed. Our Family Life Center is now open and we will be adding more regular recreation choices. See the Calendar for details.

Adult Day Health Center: St. Paul houses the Highlands Community Ministries Adult Day Health Center. It runs from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Mondays through Fridays, and provides care, food, and recreation activities for adults who are unable to take care of themselves during the day. Church Committees and Ministry Teams: Members are actively involved in all aspects of running St. Paul and its ministries. We encourage all members to find a ministry that either uses their current spiritual gifts or stretches them to develop latent ones.
